Multiboot does not wok
As of last week, booting the machine meant telling Lilo whether to boot Linux off the slave drive or to go to the NT multiboot manager on the master drive; I tried fixing the master disk by giving up on the Linux boot loader and repairing everything the Microsoft way. Dual Boot 2000/XP problem
Note that if you have DOS as a multiboot (or anything else, like NT or OS/2) you'll still see this thing. This should stop people asking. RTFM obviously don't work. Maybe we should try stronger measures. What about fixing LILO so that if it detects you've gotten rid of your Linux partition, it just uninstalls

makes it possible to boot them directly from Multiboot-compliant boot loaders such as GRUB. Unfortunately, due to the way this has been done, a third-party patch is required for GRUB to workaround a bug in it; this fix is already in pkgsrc, but prevents GRUB builds made by Linux distributions to work properly.

Adding Multiboot support (or not)
